Evan Demestihas

Evan Demestihas was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, to immigrant parents who arrived in the United States in the early 1970s. His father hailed from Greece, while his mother came from Palestine/Israel, and they tied the knot just a week after meeting. Evan, the third of five siblings, grew up in a bustling household with two older sisters, a younger sister, and a younger brother. The family later relocated to Long Beach, California, where Evan attended kindergarten, before settling in Bakersfield at the age of six, where he has resided ever since.

He embarked on a journey of education, attending Planz Elementary, Greenfield Junior High, and South High School in Bakersfield. Evan’s academic pursuits led him to Taft College, where he earned an Associate of Arts degree in General Education. Subsequently, he pursued higher education at Cal State Bakersfield, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, followed by a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Administration. Fluent in both Greek and English, Evan’s diverse linguistic skills reflect his multicultural upbringing.

Evan’s professional trajectory took an unexpected turn when he lent a helping hand to a friend in organizing their business. Drawing from his background in business management and extensive experience in safety positions, Evan discovered his knack for revising policies, procedures, and developing best practices for businesses. This marked the inception of his consulting business, specializing in leadership training, management coaching, and organizational design.
